Real happiness can be achieved by concentrating on those aspects of our life which are both natural and necessary to us. Some people try to achieve everything which others have because its their perception that if it makes them happy then same can be true for us.

I would try to explain with this example what natural and necessary aspects are

1)  Person A buys a Ferrari because he believe that it will be ride of his life and he can be happy by just driving through the streets.

2) On the contrary while going for a drive he lost all excitement and no longer feel the happiness he was expecting.

3) Person A now got the sense that something is missing on the seat next to him, only if there would have been someone it would have been better.

Now in above example getting an Ferrari to be happy for Person A was never an natural or necessary reason to be cheerful, What he really need was an friend/partner which whom he can share the experience which could have been done without breaking the bank.

Again there can be 100 People who can just be happy driving Ferrari all day and i am not even talking about getting an Formula One Ferrari seat in Monza.

Personally i would rate achievement above happiness and success,  Accomplishing achievement will give you sense of happiness and achievement and happiness combined will give you success.

After everything said and done with success is getting whatever you want and happiness is wanting whatever you get, Now the people who create fine balance by also “wanting whatever they get from their success” can really be proud of their life.
